Dr. John Mertz is a board-certified anesthesiologist with 29 years of experience in providing anesthesia care for his patients. Dr. Mertz earned a medical degree and completed his residency at Ohio State University. He gained extensive training in all aspects of anesthesia administration and perioperative care.

Dr. Mertz closely works with our plastic surgeons and nurses to create a tailored anesthesia plan that prioritizes our patient’s safety and comfort throughout the surgical experience. His compassionate approach to patient care ensures that our patients receive the best care possible.

In his spare time Dr. Mertz enjoys spending time with his wife and 5 children.
