Dr. Adam Purzycki grew up in southern New Jersey in a family of 5, with an older brother and a younger sister. He went to college at Gettysburg College where he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology.

He then went on to medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, which is where he developed a passion for plastic surgery. He was active in research with the plastic surgery department and presented some of his work at the American Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Association annual conference.

With a passion for plastic surgery, he matched at his top choice for residency and at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Purzycki then went on to complete a year long breast fellowship with renowned plastic surgeon Stephen Vega in Rochester, NY. This included both cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery.

He has been practicing in the Raleigh area since 2016 with a focus on all aspects of breast and body cosmetic surgery, as well as breast and skin cancer reconstruction.
Dr. Purzycki married his high school sweetheart, Megan. They have 4 children – Carly, Caleb, Molly, and Levi. He loves spending time with his family and being outdoors – camping, hiking, and distance running.
